to Jesmond Road Primary School’s Website!
Hello! I am Jane Loomes and I joined Jesmond Road Primary
School as Head Teacher in September 2004. The website
was launched in October 2006 and over the weeks and
months it will be continuously improved, updated
and developed.
We hope that you will find it useful as it will contain
a lot of information and interesting events which have
happened at Jesmond Road Primary School. Items of interest
include the past Newsletters, a calendar of events and
items such as the School Prospectus and various policies.
Also included are lots of photographs of some of the many
exciting things which happen whilst we are at
school and some photographs of a small sample of the excellent
work which is produced daily by the children at
school – these
things undoubtedly make Jesmond Road Primary
School a very special place.
In the relatively short time I have been here I have
found that Jesmond Road Primary School is a wonderful place
to work, and is a very caring and special place to be.
We strive hard to bring the best out in every child across
the curriculum, give the children a wide range of opportunities
(both academic and extra curricular), have a loyal Friends
of Jesmond Road Primary School, and parents and Governors
who regularly support us in what we do. Without everyone
working together strongly as a team, these things would
not be achievable.
